Health financing policy in fragile & conflict-affected situations
These two papers, produced for the World Health Organization, look at health financing policy in fragile and conflict-affected settings.
The first – Health financing policy and implementation in fragile and conflict-affected settings (opens new window) – is a synthesis of evidence and policy recommendations. It provides tailored guidance for policy makers tasked with developing and implementing health financing policy in fragile and conflict-affected situations, as well as those who advise such policy.
The second paper – Health financing policy in fragile & conflict-affected situations (opens new window) – provides background to the previous report. It summarises the myriad health financing interventions implemented in FCAS, in response to the challenges but also new opportunities, and uses the WHO health financing functional approach as the organizing framework.
