Research for stronger health systems during and after crisis

The Institute for Global Health and Development (IGHD) at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh promotes research embodying critical thinking, practice engagement and principles of social justice to address the health and development of vulnerable and marginalized populations globally. Research is focused through inter-disciplinary clusters that draw together academic staff, research students and external partners in addressing major issues, aspiring towards global thought leadership.

ReBUILD's team and work at IGHD (formerly IIHD - Institute for International Health and Development) is led by Professor Sophie Witter with Professor Barbara McPake and Suzanne Fustukian.
