The Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM) has been a leading, international institution for effective international health research for over a hundred years. The research portfolio ranges from bench science through clinical trials to social science and health systems research. LSTM has an excellent record of accomplishment in research that is close to policy and multidisciplinary working between disease specific areas, health systems and cross cutting issues.
