Last month, world leaders attending the United Nations high-level meeting on non communicable diseases recognised that these diseases are one of the major challenges to international development.
However, among the wide-ranging discussions at the meeting, one topic received scant attention: the issues facing countries emerging from conflict. The ReBUILD project presents a unique opportunity to bridge this gap in knowledge, as we focus on rebuilding health systems in post conflict countries. To read the WHO bulletin in full click here.
